The same move, posture, view and sense can in a moment of new perspective, become a completely different, view, feeling, understanding or even give, or leave, a different emotion.
The same, framed differently.
Everyday we make choices on how we see and perceive things. I hope that as you practice with us, you rethink your movement, posture and awareness. How it makes you feel. maybe different from expectations or in the past.
A Reframing.
At Team Hoi we focus on appreciating how movement and a mindful awareness, powerfully “Reframes” and "Resets" the neural system, and therefore ourselves. This helps explain so many of the benefits of being more mindful with our movement and posture. In our Movement and Pilates sessions we are "reframing" what it means to feel strong, move well, and feel the sensation of our body in our minds, and how our thoughts are affecting our bodies. Looking to see and feel our wellbeing.
Think about how you moved and viewed something different when you “reframed it”. Maybe you got the message, that it's "okay to bend your spine", after all the old "keep your spine straight" advice! An opening of the mind to change your perspective. A Reframing.
